Made of mercerized cotton with a songket pattern woven from tencel yarn, and hand-stiched with metallic silver yarn. The songket pattern was exclusively worn by King Ihutan, whose actions and words united his people. King Ihutan, a role model for his subjects, was the last Batak king, King Sisingamangaraja XII.
